Hi,

Got all my parts for my Single conversion and I am know reading up on all aspects of the install.

My compressor has no tap or barb vacuum source for my external wastegate setup.

My question is where do most setups get the source from the I/C or tapping the Compressor or is there another way.  Dont really fancy putting an ugly fitting on my spanking tubby :Laugh

I have a Greddy Profec B II to handle the boost control.

I will also be following the following diagram.

Hi there, try and get the vac souce as close to the intake as possible, you can see the pressure sensor is quite well plumbed in, also with a boost controller sensor, make sure that its the same vac source as the pressure sensor and as short as possible :) That way the reading on the boost controller is also the reading for the sensor that is plugged into the ECU for mapping :)

Your catch can will need to vent to atmosphere or intake (through a PCV).
Or maybe you weren\'t asking about that bit. lol.:)

When I went single I used a revotec 5mm self-sealing take-off in 90 deg bend silicon hose that goes on to my intercooler piping.

Easy.

Hi,

Now thats what I wanted to here :yes
Did\'nt want to mess about with drilling and welding hose barbs.

Where did you get the part from by the way and everyone for the suggestions.

Try this. They aren\'t cheap, but they do save a lot of faff. I used about three on my set up, which I used the same diagram for as you (minus the oil catch can)
