ta stu..

Yes, I\'m fairly sure that\'s right. The 12A has swept volume of 1150 cc therefore by agreement taxed as a 2300 by DVLA when new.
The 13B was increased to swept volume 1300 cc therefore taxed as a 2600 cc when new.
They will both be £190 Road Fund now though as they\'re both bigger engines in the pre 2001 road tax rules.

Quote from: syebba;670569post a pic up of ur red rex\'s interior ian,see if it\'s the same colours as mine & A7RXY?
Our cars were near end of production run,so maybe they just fitted what was left in parts bin as in Daves car.
ta stu..

These pics are from my red car... this trim is described by Mazda as black...

These 2 are from my black car, trim also described as black.
It is actually slightly darker than it looks in the photos, the flash bleached the colours out a bit.
It still ain\'t \'black\' black though!

I think that you\'re probably right about them using up the trim.
Same sort of thing as the useless aircon button on later cars.

syebba

Yep thats exactly the same trim as mine.

I think that\'s quite strong for a car with no mot and a change of colour.
Even if it didn\'t need much work for the mot, it\'s still had a change of colour.
I\'m not a fan of green cars but the original  Mazda opal green isn\'t completely horrible and I\'d rather have that than some half a***d respray in another colour.
It surprises me that more of the 1st gens that are sold don\'t end up on this forum given the wealth of information that\'s available here about them.
Most seem to sell and then disappear again.

syebba

In many photo\'s the opal green looks silver to me!
Yeah i\'m surprised there are\'nt more new 1st gen owners on here, though some of the cars do seem to change hands frequently!

all garages in England are narrow compaired to New Zealand my dad is having his extended over here and the builders cant understand why he wants to use it as a garage to store a car in it

A7RXY

Looks to be a nice clean car, lets hope it goes to someone who will put it back where it belongs, on the road...............
