FC Turbo 2 shaft play.

Sounds like mine! It spools up @ not much over 3k to around about 1bar then it drops off as the revs increase. I\'ve limited it now with the boost controller but what I don\'t get is why its started doing it all of a sudden. I\'ve owned the car for 3 years and its only started doing it since christmas ( it did always boost to around 11 maybe 12PSI). Im blaming the crappy manual boost controller that was on the car when I got it and have now binned. It must have gone faulty. Unless my actuator is sticking or something stupid like that.

The actuator is getting worn, so can\'t cope with the extra pressure above stock, don\'t forget its only ment for 0.6 bar lol

HKS do a bolt on uprated actuator that is adjustable so the boost can be set correctly, might be an idea to get one of those mine boosts, but doesn\'t hold boost due to the OEM actuator lol

Perhaps set it to 0.6 bar and see if you can hold the boost, if you can, its probably just the actuator that is being worn
