Hello,

I\'m looking ofr pictures of extra fuel injector setups. Preferably on the UIM or LIM.

Possible some info about angle towards UIM/LIM, where you got the parts/materials etc.

Many thanks

MaLicE

seen them in upper inlet mani and also in the elbow that comes off of the throttle body...

there was a post on fduk some trader has a whole inlet mani settup with new throttle body that can take 8 injectors or something have a look on there :)

I sold one quite a while ago. Here are the for sale pictures :

panspeed elbow with two extra injectors (not plumbed in)

First one is a good example, somehow I don\'t like the elbow setup being in front of the TB. It gives the impression that the fuel will see the TB as an obstacle.
Could be wrong. It\'s a good discussion point.

Pre TB setup seems a more simpel setup

correct me if I\'m wrong, but in the pic of the UIM above, wouldn\'t the injectors be feeding the fuel in against the air flow?? surley it would be more affective if they were pointing in the direction of the air flow (like the stock ones) ???

true, but I like the position/idea.

Considering I\'ll be running a Gt40R single setup, I have some extra room downwards (LIM)

any idea where to get the \'bungs\' for the injectors or a technical drawing?

I think Jenvey (of throttle body fame) should have all the parts to plumb in some injectors, flanges, rails, etc.

My idea was to grind out the double throttle and mount two injectors on top of the UIM at a fairly steep angle, just after the TB. Just an idea though, I\'ve not measured anything as I\'m nowhere near the stage where I need to do it.

If this set up is anything to go by, fuel before the throttle body shouldn\'t be a problem :D

it\'s an idea to put them on top of the TB but hood clearance will become an issue pretty fast I guess.

I searched Jenvey site but haven\'t found much I don\'t doubt they will be able to provide the materials.

On the other side , it can\'t be too hard to make them myself. I can take measurements of my current LIM and have bungs made up. I\'m going to run 4 OEM 850cc as secondaries.

They where more at 90deg to the air flow. Was a nice tidy setup.

Hey Neal,
http://www.tappedracing.com/black_rx7.html

He has Modified Fuel Rails w/ 850x4 injectors and AN fittings, Custom additional fuel rail w/2x550 injectors. So you should be able to close the hood if you choose to run different injectors or what ever...

Speedworks

Hy Oliver, good to see you\'re still around. Intersting setup.

My idea was to add one of my spare sec fuel rails on the upper side of the lower intake manifold. Reason is I have the parts. The single turbo should allow space to do so.. well that\'s it I think. Oh and a spare LIM to practise on too :-)

I have seen pictures of such setup s before. Just can\'t get a hold of them
