oil filter relocation

dont mean to sound rude but why? the oil filter is in an easy to get to place, i had a 200sx before and the filter on that is a pain in the arse to get to... unless you REALLY need to... there are other things i would spend over 100 quid on...

I thought exactly the same?????? If it\'s a Supra TT or GTR Skyline then they are a swine to get at but the RX7\'s filter is perfect! It\'s right on top of the engine and is even all ready upside down..........wonderfull!!!!

cheers lads jus its my first time to do a whole oil change on the car and im not sure where it was so i was thinkin to get it while i was at it and i taught they looked cool with the braided lines but if its easy ill leave it and get something else

Do i assume that this is sarcasm??? As soon as you take it off, residual oil peshes everywhere - no matter HOW long you leave it for!!! :P

You\'re draining the oil out the bottom first right! lol ;)

On a serious note, if you do the above and then loosen the oil filter a little that will help.... then of course you have to undo and take off all within about 3 seconds!! :Thumbs-up
