redgti has just picked up his Bride passenger seat off me, he has the square sort, on his car it does look rather cool as the shiny black surrounds on the squarer sort matched with the shiny black of the car.

I think it works well with darker coloured cars, but only with the EGIs due to the black bump strips else you would have black surrounds on the lights and then no black trim on the turbo II.

i have to disagre, i recon the round lights look good with the trim

The pre-89 ones do look ok on a white car with black trim but the round type do give a more up to date look. I modded several sets with the diffuser taken out but might be best to get LED bulbs as they are brighter. With the diffuser taken out it does not give a good bright glow and especially during the day.  The other set on my Fc are actually trailer LED\'s from the USA, cost was still about £50 and I put LED bulbs and resistors in for the indicators.

If you wanted the OEM ones slightly different, perhaps put those LED bulbs in the lights and use some tinting spray? :)
