Hi chaps , it\'s not a Mazda i\'m affraid but a rear engine 1970 Fiat 600 peasant mobile (usually found taking chickens down to the market in 3rd world countries) !!!!! :rollin
I\'m new to the world of rotary power but i\'ve spoke to some nice people about engines and things over the last few weeks and it all seems very cool .
The car will be a street legal and should be around 600 kilos in weight as it\'s very small . It\'s having 1000TCR Abarth arches with 7x 13 inch wheels on the front and 8.5x13 inch wheels on the rear . Tyres will be Avon CR500\'s as used on the latest Caterham Superlite R500 model .
The 13B turbo rotary engine will be out the back mounted to a G50 Porsche 911 transaxle , Porsche drive shafts , Porsche/mazda flywheel with Porsche clutch etc all mated to a Porsche/Fiat hybrid hub set up . The engine will be a big single turbo affair with aftermarket ECU , fuel injection , charge cooler , etc etc . Power will be 350-550bhp depending on how brave i\'m feeling once it\'s working , lol . Even at 300bhp it will be scary but 500bhp should blast past superbikes for fun (833bhp per ton !!!!)  :WaveBye .
I won\'t bore you all too much yet as the bodyshell is still undergoing rust removal but i\'ll post up a few pics as it matures . I\'m hoping it will be finished inside the next 2 years but it might take 10 !!!!!

Here\'s what a Fiat Abarth 600 1000TCR looks like . Mine will look like this when it\'s done but instead of 100bhp it may have 500 !!!! :Thumbsup!

Don\'t laugh but here\'s what a £200 one looks like !!!!! If you\'re scared of rust then look away now as i have some grim pics to post up later . Almost everything from the door handles down is rotten but panels are cheap and easy to get so it\'s no problem for my mates at the bodyshop to fix .

Time to get chopping !!!! Floors , inner sills , outer sills , wings , front panel , flitch repairs , "A" post Repairs , Rear tubs , rear bulkhead mods , etc etc you get the picture . I need the shell to be strong so we\'re fixing everything and then fitting a full roll cage etc . There\'s Group 4 Abarth suspension mods to follow as well so it will handle very well i hope and lay rubber for 4x gears !!!!! :chat

Here\'s a few rusty pictures for now , i have loads :2Rolleyes .

Cheers for the video , that car sounds great . :cool

Hi Ed , good video mate . Poor 911 turbo !!!!! lol

600gaz

This is a great pic of a 10 second UK Fiat 600 . This car has a 2.3 litre VW Beetle engine with gas . It\'s had the roof chopped/lowered but apart from that the bodies stock . It\'s not even got extended rear arches so runs 10\'s on narrow rims with slicks , Top motor :Thumbs-up.  If mine hooks up like that then i\'ll need new pants !!!

Cheers fella\'s , glad you all appreciate my madness , lol . The body should be rot free in the next few months and then the mechanicals can be sorted . It might be a tight squeeze getting it all too fit though !!!!!

Both floors and outer drivers sill fitted , the sandy coloured floor section is a genuine 1960\'s Fiat panel and the black drivers side floor is a modern repro panel .
