Not content with the spioler, I\'ve found what I regard is the best polish for metal I\'ve certainly used. Infact, it\'s sooooooo good i\'ve been going all round the house with it.. just takes off all the tarnish of years of abuse and makes everything look new. Done the dam door handles with it on the front door hehe.. pics to follow ;)

Takes a LOT of effort but the results are AMAZING. Look at my exhaust.. the way it was. It was an off gold colour very dingy.

So what is it? Autosol! Only £3 or so a tube.. my god is it worth it...

I used some metal polish on it before for car shows and it made it shine.. but this crap actually took it back to looking like new. I swear on your nelly that I thought my exhausts natural colour was a goldy tinge.. my god the shock I got when I found out it\'s silver haha

I looks sooooo good now.. even takes off the slight layer of rust on the welding points. Look at the diff!

Use this stuff myself dude!  Top notch on those days when you can be arse lying on your back behind the car for a bit.  See for a laugh.  Try polishing the inside of the tail pipe.  You will be shocked at what that stuff can remove.  I had mine mirror finnish on the inside as well as out.  Well for a day anyway.  Ho hum.

Heres another good one,  if you have a cromed exhaust thats covered in crapola then spray/dab some wheel cleaner on to it and wipe it off after a few minutes.  Once you\'ve wacked some polish onto it you\'d think it was new!

I use some Autoglym metal polish, no doubt was 3 times the price, but as it was a present I can\'t complain!

it would do that I reckon, best to pick up a cheap buffer from Halfrauds.. that\'d take sooooooo much work to do that by hand

Not sure how well Autosol works on mild steel. Think you would need to either wire brush or sand blast to remove the rust and coat in a heat resistant paint.
