rx7 FC headlight

Hi , firstly sorry if this is a stupid question new to the rx7 world.

I have a 1988 RX7 FC 2.3non turbo

How do i change the headlight bulbs on it ? and also anyone else put a set of HID bulbs in them , where have you put the hid boxes ?

Bulbs, I have found the easiest way for me is to take the entire unit out. Make sure you set the pattern correctly afterwards

some housing, the bulb is built into he housing.
i have hid\'s on mine. i found a couple of bolts just behind the popups and bolted the ballast to them. simple job.

cheers guys , yeah looking at it wondered if any easy way of accessing the back but looks like whole unit will have to come out .

two bolts on engine side of headlamp housing then 2screws each side of it ?

pop up lights, take out the fuse in engine bay (better safe than sorry.
plastic housing has about 3 or 4 screws.
then the housing is help in by a couple of springs. might look like its held in by 2 screws (one on bottom side, one on the side) these adjust teh angles of teh light so dont play with them.
headlight should pop out once the springs are unclipped.

Just make sure you take the retractor fuse out after to pop the headlights up, if you knock the lights and they decide they will go down then they will take your fingers off, so be careful
