what the hell??

my mate picked up my fc the other day saying, \'it has three exhausts\' i was like no it should have 2. He isn\'t very mechanically inclined and i don\'t want to ask him to go poking around getting covered in .... but what the hell is this pipe doing?

Bit bizzarre, innit? The car doesn\'t look a turbo so it can\'t be the world\'s narrowest gauge screamer pipe :confused:. You sure it\'s actually attached to the car, it\'s not just random road debris that\'s been run over and wedged there?

Screamer pipe from the wastegate? would be odd if it was if its running a stock turbo lol Where does it plumb into?

to be honest - dont see many still with it these days

i\'m going to have to ask my mate to get under and have a look aren\'t i. i am sure he said it was fastened to the exhaust. It is a non turbo so not a wastegate. Onlt thig i could think is that it is something to bypass the rear silencers, but it is a tiny pipe.
 
As said looks like a piece of crack that has got wedged. ha ha.

yeah the wheels are truely disgusting, hopefully gonna get the mazdaspeed 747\'s for it or something small and old school (ssr meshi wish) first get the mot on it and fit my bucket seats.

errr its part of the emiisions - so might run up towards the exhaust manifold somewhere

and i like the wheels to be honest .. are the 17\'s ?

i have some 16\'s split rims in the garden or some yank 15\'s with brand new yokos on them ( although they look like winter tyres )

Its routed from the secondary thermal reactor, its the outlet for the co-axial airflow.

yeah hopefully, i wil have to investigate that pipe then, it is defo weird and well ugly.
 
yeah they are 17\'s mate and hopefully yes if i can arrange to meet and find some cash i will get them off adam and brett, i think they look quite in keeping with the car.
