just managed to get a greddy air/fuel gauge obviously not for mapping purposes but i nearly have the full set of gauges now and its become my mission to get them all lol!

anyway it comes with a new lamda sensor... now you can either install this in the stock place and it then has a wire that you tap in to the stock harness to give the ecu a signal etc (running power fc)

or you can mount it elsewhere...

im thinking of sticking it in the stock place providing i can get the old one out... or i might just get a downpipe while im at it and swap the lot out...

is anyone using one of these?

In my FC im running a seperate Bosch wideband O2 sensor along side the stock narrow band O2 sensor for cruise map on the stock ecu.

I belive if your O2 sensor has a narrowband/lamba read out you can plumb that into the ECU to make it think that the stock one is still there, ive gone for a twin O2 bung setup as if I do decide to just use the Wideband O2 output, I can use the other O2 bung hole for an EGT sensor :)

P.S. Im glad you got a wideband O2 sensor, I find it funny when people plumb in a narrow band O2 sensor into a gauge and it either reads LEAN...RICH...LEAN....RICH :rollin

basically the greddy one is wideband with the narrowband output on it as far as i can work out... it has an extra wire coming off of it that the instruction manual says if you put the sensor in place of the stock sens it will give the ecu the signal it needs... gonna give it a go anyway...

on a side note i read on rx7 club that alot of them turn off the o2 reading on the commander in the function menu (menu where you can disable sequential control) anyone do this over here?? seems a little weird?

Got a Bosch Wideband sensor too but had a new socket welded a bit further down the downpipe so it weren\'t too close to the turbos as is recommended... The Bosch also has a narrowband output for connection to ECU\'s if you wish but i\'m just running it stand alone with the original narrowband connected to the ECU.

Did this mainly as it\'s a PITA to get to the original sensor on stock twins too lol ...
