Hi,

Last weekend I was trying to change the FD3S thermoswitch with FC one. I saw the post about changing the FD thermoswitch with FC one on RX7Club forum. But when I get to the place where thermoswitch should be I find this sensor...

It has two pins where the FC thermoswitch has only one. So I am thinking is this the thermoswitch.... or where it is?

If someone know what is this sensor for... maybe the coolant level?

Can someone help me out? Where is the thermoswitch.... or what sensor I have on the first two pictures?

I am confused.

And to be clear I have FD3S 99`... Japan one. :)

Thanks!

Search here == Bob: ro284\'s - FD Temp guage and Thermoswitch mod. i did this and this may help, i think the sensor you want is the one underneath the one in your pic, if there is not one under that one, it must be located somewhere else, maybe because it\'s a 99 Jap model but the sensor on the front of filler neck has the single wire, but this is for low coolant buzzer!

Quoteso you think that it is under the sensor on the first two pictures...
To be honest from your pic, it does not look like it is there to me, so it may be a different setup on the 99 model, on the 93 model the thermoswitch basically grounds the single wire at a set temperature. this wire is connected to relay no 3 to switch the cooling fans on, but i\'m not familiar with the 99 model wiring or setup.
