Yes, there seems to be loads of fakes on ebay.....quite easy to spot, they only cost about £200 for a pair, when the real ones go for £1000 each!

If you are dubious, always look to buy through a recognised dealer / importer of Bride seats.....only way round it.

hmmm well these are about half price at 1200 a pair and \'brand new\'. Was going to go have a look at them but am worried it\'s too good to be true. Not really having seen any genuine ones it\'s hard to know what to look for lol

Dan Norton

Any links mate....might be able to tell from pics, hard i know, but you never know.

Contact BRIDE direct or google them as theres a UK supplier now so a quick email/phone call from them could help you.

Same goes for buying off egay if the shipping is from , Thailand etc be careful although alot of items (not saying BRIDE) do and are made in similar countries and then marked as JDM produce.

JUst a heads up ;)

what material are they? if they are alcantara or such... they are fake bride doesnt make them...

if they are recliners the fakes have 3 extra bolts on them, poor quality uneven stitching, and the bride tag (like you get in t shirts) is wrong...

najiru

Thanks all, they are in the uk local to me. Have quized the guy and he\'s said they are \'very high quality JDM replicas\' *cough* so I\'ve passed. Thanks for your input, too good to be true holds yet again :2Rolleyes

Dan Norton

Well done for questioning them!

Also, to be fair, you can get some very good Recaro / Sparco fixed buckets for £600 a pair now.....i know its not "jdm", but at least you get a product that works!

Interesting, which ones are those? Wanted to maintain a bit of comfort for drives to tracks/shows etc.

Timmy

The easy way to spot them is check the sticker on the bottom, it should say "tee\'s corporation".

I used to have some Buddyclub buckets, and they were fantastic....fit in the FD no probs.
