Hi all, laid the car up for the winter and got hold of a Knight Sport ECU which I fitted at the weekend as I thought it was over boosting and still got the fault, well it’s the same but different if you know what I mean, its still loosing all power / boost but a lot more gently with the Knight Sport and there is a whooshing, whistling noise from the exhaust when it happens which makes me think the wastegate is opening fully whenever the boost rises or second turbo is due to come in.

I was thinking the car may have had a boost controller fitted along with the Apexi PFC before I got it (presume PFC as the ECU bracket has the corner cut off where the commander plugs in) which I presume would mean the pill has been removed or the pipes messed up in some way, either that or the actuator itself is faulty.

Where about will I find or not find the pill? And if it’s missing what can I replace it with?

I did wonder about fitting a bleed valve or a ball type mechanical boost controller since there cheap.
