just wondering what happens if the clutch fluid is overfilled?
would the bite point on the clutch pedal move up high?

only asking as on another car, the bite point / clutch movement is at the very top! as soon as the clutch pedal is pressed about an inch, 2 inches max, then the clutch is released. bite point is usually on average 1/2 way on the pedal travel distance.

hope this makes scense, im not that good with the terminology :(

cheers

Fluid level makes no diference to the bite point unless it was realy low (no fluid) in which case the bite point would be at the bottom.

Agree .... exactly the case. Might spit a bit out of the reservoir if too full, thats all.

(don\'t know what kind of car it is) but on a hydraulic setup it would normaly mean the clutch is on its way out.

renaults used to use an adjuster ratchet mechanism on the peddle might be worth checking
