VX paint code?

My 94 fd is very Chaste white looking but it has the paint code VX rather than PT. Does anyone know if VX is the same as PT or if not what name VX has?

My 95 fd is chaste white and has the PT paint code, never heard of VX but dont think its a mazda one

mmmmm I know it\'s a bit strange but thats whats on the bulkhead chassis plate.

Been there done that but VX isn\'t on the list, but as I said on my last post it is on the chassis plate. Maybe I have a 1 off experimental colour?:confused:

Hzve you tried to buy some yet? A decent trade autopaint place should be able to mix you some off the paint code, assuming they have vx on their list of course

I\'ve tried paints4U who list 2 chaste whites one being PT and the other BX. When I asked if the BX could really mean VX they said "yeah they are the same colours" even though they have a different codes and order numbers? I only need a small amount for chips etc so I might try and get some and see how close it is...........

yeah give it a go, especially if it\'s only for chips wont be the ned of the world if there\'s a slight mismatch. Still a bit odd that they don\'t match.
