Sorry guys but I have to pull out of this track day.
Went to Brands Hatch today and had a excellent time but now have a whining noise. So it has to go to the shop to get it fixed. Plus while its there I will be haveing my turbo fitted as well and that will take time.

Ok guys, essential final car checks done;

Oil, water, tyres, brake pads, brake fluid.
Emptied all non-essentail junk from car and boot.

Absolutely no chance to wash the car this week, has hardly stopped raining since last Friday, so car very dirty  

HOWEVER, weather forecast for tomorrow looks to be dry for most of the day - "Sunny Spells", but only about 6 degrees :Thumbs-up

See Crissy and Aston at the agreed RVP. See the rest of you down there. First person to get there - bag a pair of garages!

What a fantastic day! Weather cold, but dry, and even SUNNY for most for the day. Plenty of track time for all, very little wait time in the pitlane. The organsation of the day by MazdaOnTrack (thanks Nick & Co) and MSV was superb. This was an absolute bargain of a day. I hope many more members will want to give it a go next year. It really is so much fun, and the only way to explore/exploit the handling of our great cars in relative safety! Speeds of ~110mph were acheivable with the "8\'s" at the end of the main pit straight, but the real pleasure of Brands is the gradients & flowing corners. A real delight when you put a smooth lap together.

It was a good social day too, plenty of time to chat, passenger in each other\'s cars, plus consume some gorgeous Italian cake and biscuits that CrissyUK kindly transported back all the way from TURIN last weekend.

Well done Clive, who also managed to make a brief appearance for a chat. He and I also had some discussions with Nick and Alistair from MazdaOnTrack about how we could work together to put on some events next year, centred on Trackdays, with wider appeal to MRC members.....watch this space.....
