Hi all, after mapping my 93 FD3S recently I have been informed that my non seq tubs actuator is getting weak, I know I could put a stronger spring in it but i have gone as far as I can with these tubs so I am looking into going single, now here is my dilema, i not sure what to get, my engine modifications are as follows :-

FRONT MOUNT
550`S/1680`S
260 LTR PER HR FUEL PUMP
FUEL PRESSURE REG
STREET PORT
GEINKEN TWIN PLATE CLUTCH
AIR CON REMOVED
AIR PUMP REMOVED
LIGHT WEIGHT PULLY`S
3" EXHAUST
SECONDARY BUTTERFLY`S REMOVED
GREDDY ELBOW
HKS SSQ BLOW OFF VALVE

I think thats all that relevent, the advise I need is what turbo to get that would give me 380-400 wheel hp, idealy with a low spool up (if such a turbo exists) my car is used as a weekend blast`s and trackday`s. All advise is greatly appreciated, also if you have the ideal turbo currently on your car could you give me the 6 digit number off it, thanks Ade 07908242931

For a low spool and decent power output of approx 360-420bhp read into the Apexi rx6 turbo unit, i had it on my satin black fd and it spools around 2500rpm giving a rather decent low down thump !!! :yes

Or a TO4S for approx 380bhp.

I have the GT35/40 106 hotsite and it does 430bhp @just under 1bar. Spool up is very fast and very little lag.

R1Dude

Hiya mate does it have a 6 digit number on the turbo housing or is the GT 34/40 the 6 digit number? I ask this because I may be able to get my hands on a brand new tub for free through a customer of mine but he said that he needs the 6 digit number off the turbo, thanks Ade :cheers

Will look tomorrow. If you need a hotside for it i have a .82 one.

Cheers dude you are a star :Thumbs-up

I\'ve just got got my car with a very similar set up to you and a GT35R and a .82 hotside tuned by Carl Hayward with 0.8 bar of boost and by Crikey it\'s fast.

Boost is almost instant. Probably not in the range of wheel horse power you\'re looking for though.
