DVLA records show that this car was manufactured in 1981 but 1st registered in the UK on 26.04.1999. An import perhaps? or error in DVLA\'s records!

Quote from: David Nock;643326No it isn\'t, but is it a Series 3 1st gen or a Series 1? The Reg and the colour suggests S1 but of course you can make a car look older with a transferred plate.
Where was it roughly?
Thanks very much.

It was a pearl white kind of colour. Driven by an older lady. It was obviously garaged, and may have been street ported by the sound of it. Definately a Series 2/3.

And I\'ve seen it twice, both times in Kingston (SW London).

Thanks again for that. Maybe an S2 import then if it\'s a 1981 on DVLA.

What about the older lady? Was she tidy? A fit old bird perhaps? Leerish grin.:D

It used to belong to a guy named Paul, had the user name riber3. If I recall he had a 3 litre Vauxhall Omega engine under the bonnet.

Yep, that\'s what I had down for it. Presume it\'s Paul that\'s selling. He wanted a swop for something suitable a few months ago.

Ah now, The Resurrection Shuffle begins.
This car was going to be broken for parts in Newcastle in March. An occasion for a car on the scrapper list to rejoin the list of the living.
Well spotted Stu.

Hi David, have you got the details of the C plater that Donavon is breaking at the mo on another thread too?

David Nock (RIP)

Thanks guys, the fleabay one looks quite reasonable for what seems to be a car last run 15 years ago.
And the C plate being broken, I\'m on to it Capt. He might have 2 cars scrapping.....lucky day if I can extract the magic numbers!

Better than that - 1 scrapping, 1 runner ongoing. Had the first (C plater) but not the second car - a Series 2.:Snoring Cum\'on guys, wake up, this is interesting!
