How loud is 95-102Db for exhaust noise???

was just wondering as am having one built for my GTO soon and would like to know how loud it will be.

at what rpm and what distance  ? I presume thats DB(a)

95Db at idle at 4.5 metres is a REALLY loud exhaust  102Db at 6500 at 0.5 metres is a fairly quiet exhaust

will be at 1metre away at 3500 rpm

in that case i would say that 95 Db(a) at 3500 at 1 metre is fairly quiet for a modified car but 102 Db(a) is getting on for being annoyingly loud and probably too loud for some of the quieter trackdays.

right just spoke to the guy it will be 98DB at 0.5m from car at 25 degrees at 3500rpm with no buildings around.

Both levels are loud enough to not allow you on track/airfield days. Depending on location.

Plus you will get plenty of attention from the local bacon, sorry Police.
