Hey Guys,

Looking for bit of help as starting to have a wee panic!!

Wired up the fuel pump tonight and plumbed all the fuel lines. I connected the battery, as we did this there was a lot of smoke coming up from the centre consol. This turned out to be a wire that had been left cut and shorted out. The wire was running from the positive side to run the gauge lights and road angel. After sorting that out, thought we would give it another go. Everything seemed to be working fine ie. lights, fans etc were working. However when looked at the PFC there was no display.

The car is off the road while a fit a single turbo setup and other bits. I fitted the PFC a few weeks ago to check it was working fine.  Have not started the car or done anything to the cars electrics. I have not done anything to the PFC since I fitted it, have I fried it??? or is it some thing simple like a blown fuse? where is it fed from?

Also the heat warning light is on but I know that this has something to do with the PFC.

That was last night...

Today I checked all the fuses but no luck.. when I turned the car to 2nd ignition everything seemed to work fine but still no pfc display?!? Temptation got the better of me and I started the car and she fired up. I then turned her off after a second, as the oil return line from the turbo is not yet fitted.... So I think that tells me the ecu is working, as thats what controls the spark.

Cheers in advance for the help, as I cant afford to buy a new PFC!!

Anyone nearby who could swap commanders to test and see if yours is at fault? If the car starts and runs the good news is the pfc should be alright.
