After translating and spell checking you post I know understand lol

Check if the rear brake caliper is stuck on

Also get the car 4 way alignment done at a proper garage, as camber and toe settings always get thrown out of range when replacing the suspension with coilovers

Oh the irony ;)

jukesr

hi m8 brake caliper is not suck on and wot can be making the nocking sound and the wheel red hot thanks:yes

AtomicRex

if the wheel is getting hot, then it is either the brake sticking on, or maybe the wheel bearing is going?

Jack the rear end up and carefully rock the wheel back and forth  check to see if there is any loose play in the wheel.

Check to see if the handbrake is moving freely too

jukesr

if it is the wheel bearing that has gone will that make a nocking sound thanks...?

AtomicRex

I have been.....try and do what I have suggested...then come back :)

jukesr

there is a bit of play in the wheel not much can this be making the knocking sound thanks..

AtomicRex

yes

If the wheel bearing is loose then this will cause the wheel to vibrate.

Are your nuts done up?

jukesr

yes nuts r done up on wheel it only happens wen i go over a bump in the road then i get a big knoc do not no if this helps thanks
and how much is it for a new wheel bearing?

AtomicRex

wheel bearings are approx £50-60

Could be you have a duff shock....could also be that the pillow ball joints.

Bobbit

I\'d say it\'s worth checking the pillow ball joints too, mine did this, a bump or hole caused the knocking sound on mine, was the pillow ball, costs about £30 from mazda IIRC but they are a bugger to replace yourself unless you have a press
:Laugh LOL
