Here he is parked up at Bretton (Yorkshire Sculpture Park near M1 J38).
What a work of art the FB was.....
....the sculptures are worth a look see as well if anyone\'s passing. Entry is free but it\'s £4 to park your car.....very reasonable if there\'s 3 or 4 people in a bigger car. then it\'s free access to a large rolling parkland with sculptures popping up out of the landscape. Good shop and restaurant as well..

That\'s a very smart FB,David..
Have the original alloys been refurbed,i can\'t see any peeling lacquer or kerbing dinks!
Ta...

Thanks All.
No Stu, never refurbed but if you get really close there\'s a bit of \'spiders web\' under the laquer on a couple of the wheels. KERBING DINKS!.....wash your mouth out that man.....I\'m the guy who pulls it into and out of the garage if the engine\'s cold......I\'m the guy who parks at the empty side of Tesco\'s,  1 mile to the door to push the trolley..... I\'m the guy who obsessively walks 3 times round it before leaving it parked. I ask you, am I going to ding the wheels? Never I say.....Never!!!!!!!

Also mate I\'m a bit lucky to have a set of winter wheels but the tyres on that set are too out of date now to use safely so I don\'t know what I\'ll do from this year on.

Did anyone see the 2 brand new S3 wheels for sale on the \'other club\'?

That\'s a lovely looking car David, those wheels should win a prize by themselves!
That must be one of the straightest, cleanest 1st gens in the country.
I hardly ever see any anymore and of the ones that I do see, most look their age.
I take it that yours spends most of it\'s time in your garage on a bed of feathers!
Very nice!!

Thanks Ian, no special prep for the piccy either, the light and shade just suited it.
The car spent the first seven and half years under a sheet in a Mazda dealers till we bought it in 1993.. (1st registered Dec 1992). But it was my wife\'s daily drive from \'93 right through to 2004 when we both finished work. She is not a wheel dinger either which is a blessing!
52,400 miles on it at present; there\'s other FB\'s on this club with less miles and as you know that white one for sale near you is only supposed to have done 46,000 miles.
I did waxoyl it in 1993 (I\'d have been mad not to), and I do all the maintenance early rather than on time: I never skimp on quality of parts...I usually only use original Mazda when I can get them. I wouldn\'t say it\'s mollycoddled but I do try to avoid rainy days in it now!
It\'s just a great fun machine which we were lucky to buy at the time and we enjoy every minute out and about in it.
