Odometer and power fc problem

I just posted this on fduk but thought i would post here to...

Im having issue\'s with my odometer which seams to have died. its not displaying any numbers anymore. this happened as i was driving along but at the same time my apexi power fc comander started reading really crapped out speed readings, same goes for my avcr. the speedo its self tho seams to be fine.

ive checked fuse\'s and things but they all look fine. I know the odometer does go sometimes but i wouldnt have thought the power fc and avcr would have been affected.

but would that not effect the speedo too? and would that effect the odometer?

You will need to replace the speedo guage to fix this problem

yeh from all the searching online it looks like its one of the cap\'s on the pcb that have gone. i might try to fix it myself.
