Thanks guys for making the trip over worth it.

Pleasant company and a good old chat about rotary\'s, oh and the penguin stuff lol.

Overall Jamie and his team organised a very good event which was very well attended by the public despite the overcast weather. I\'m sure they reported a 20 minute queue to reach the entrance of the public car park.

The chap taking the group photo was from the local press, it is possible that the 5 of us with Jamie will appear in the press with a row of Rotary\'s in the back ground.

Yeah was a great event, was good to catch up again. It\'s the first event i\'ve been to when it didn\'t rain at all! Our bbq may unfortunetly have to be retired from service now though due to the big rust hole in the bottom.

I as wondering who that was with the camera, any idea which paper it might be?

I have three pics which I can put up tonight. I just managed three of our stand before my batteries ran out :2Confused

grinder

i will email jamie and see if he knows who the chap was ( or what paper its likely to be in ! )

Yea, loved it! The carbon footprint/pengiun/seal/polar bear conversation was
particularly exquisite. I took a fair array of poor quality pictures on my phone.. but I did find these though http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=277019 . There was a guy taking pics for japanese performance mag knocking around as well, could be interesting.
If everyone fancies meeting again may I suggest having a look into "wigan meet take 2"? :Giggle lol

Dear all,

Firstly, thank you to all those that attended and made the show the success that it was. For the first time in three years, the weather was kind enough not to rain, which was a relief!

The money raised has been counted and has been announced on the Japan North website. It should be noted that we are still awaiting contributions from several companies, so hopefully this figure should rise even further!

The Japan North Galleries have also been updated, with additions from 2009. There are almost 300 images on there, so there is a good chance you\'ll find your car there.

All winning numbers have been added to the Raffle page too, along with their corresponding prices.
For those that were unable to donate on the day, we are still taking donations via the website, which is completed securely through PayPal.

Once again, thank you for attending the show and for the kind donations. I know this is said often, but every penny really does count so thank you.

All the very best,

Jamie
