Hi

I have just noticed that my max boost is only around 0.5 bar and it used to be around 0.9 bar.  Driving around town one doesn’t really need more then 0.5 bar so I guess I haven’t noticed until today when I had a practise at some launches (still getting use to the new performance clutch)

I have a twin turbo with most of the supporting mods producing around 350 BHP

Is there anything I can have a look at to see why I am not getting the full boost before I take the car to Kerim at Powergains?

I help would be appreciated, I haven’t noticed any split hoses or nether any hoses have come off â€" I have mostly hard pipes.  What I have noticed is that the HKS Racing suction Kit started to make a different noise; Engine seems fine and the car starts OK

from what iv read on here aboutTurbos problems its ussually the rats nest or a dodgy soleniod thats causeing the lack of boost

As above Mike, it will be dodgy solenoid or vacum problem probably.

If you cant fix it, just pop it to Kerims, im sure he wont mind having a look

I just had a look at all the pipes and vacums and all is fine

I will pop in tomorrow - hopefully it isn\'t something major, how much is a second hand selenoid any way?

you wont be able to tell on vacum hosing without taking it all off. A small pin prick hole in one of the hoses will cause boost issues.
