Anyone know who recoats the insides of rotor housings, I have done a search but no luck, been asked to find out for a friend, thanks Ade :Thumbs-up

No-one that I\'ve been able to find either. Pineapple racing mention that there\'s a place in the states that does it, but they didn\'t seem to think it was very satisfactory. It\'s a pain, I know - new ones are damn expensive!

There was a company on rx7club that was able to do it but it basically cost as much as a new housing. There are a few companies that sell 2nd hand stuff but why scrimp on housings if they last 5 mins afterwards.

New housings have been ordered, the friend of mine in question who asked me to enquire about re chroming has found a guy in canada who does them using cnc equipment, but like you said Shaun might as well get new ones, thanks for the replies guys, much apreciated :cheers

I know that Wicked Wheels in Guildford can chrome wheels, might be worth having a call to them to see if you can get the contact and ask about chroming this instead of wheels?!!?

R1Dude

Nice one dude, will give em a call :cheers

let me know how much they quote as asked about getting my wheels split and face re-chromed he told me it would be about £150-200 per wheel but that was off the top of his head at a car show recently...

JHB performance in Canada recoat them with a ceramic coating, which is useless,it comes off,and are far from factory tolerances once done.Good money making exercise for them though.

Thanks for that Tim, I have found a local company that`s interested but needs to see a housing to see if they can do it, but I not well at the mo so will post up when I took it down Mr Gold :Thumbs-up
