Hey ppl had a search couldnt seem to find much regarding a guide to this! im Going to tackle the fuel filter tonight after work! Any advice on what the best way to do it is would be fantastic!! I have heard this job is a pig due to the Diff but im a patient lad :D any advice would be good eg; how the pipes come off what sort of clips they are and tool required etc etc. Thank you.

Sockets, Longnose pliers and lots of twisting and swearing, I found the worst part of the job was getting the pipes off! You\'ll also need some light under there, The hoses are held on with the spring clips so slide those off then twist. Oh and don\'t celebrate when you do pull the pipe off as if you dont depresurise the system first you\'ll get a gob full of petrol (i did) :Giggle
I woof in your general direction.

DRAGON did a great how-to on the fuel filter, it\'s here somewhere.  Used it to do mine and was a great help.

conquered lol.. its an absolute pig of a job.. cant get grips in the get the pipe clips off... you cant see what you suppost to be taking off.. anyways i changed the filter because it was just somthing i wanted to do... i had no running issues or anything with the car but now i am glad i changed it as this is what happened when i shook the petrol out of the filter onto some kitchen roll... Absolutly shocking it was brown petrol.... and now i feel i have alot more throttle response all round.
