Clocks

My speedo seems to be broken as it now goes up and down with the rev counter.  I\'m thinking about repair or replace.

Anyone have any ideas, experience of this or suggestions.

Is it just the Speedo? noting else going crazy?

If it is just the speedo and all the clock lights and gauges work i\'d suggest checking the speed sensor in the side of the gearbox and its associated Plug/wiring. But if there is other odd things happening with the clocks i\'d be looking at the clocks.

Thanks for replying Grizzly.  I was beginning to think this forum was dead.

It is just the Speedo so I\'ll have a route around as you suggest.  Can you give me any pointers on the location (other than on the side of the gearbox)?
