Single turbo->leaning out engine harness

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I need to get my engine harness out as in my quest to find what the hell is wrong with my engine behaviour, I can not come to another conclusion than a failure in the engine harness...

Being at that point, I\'m planning to take out as much as possible.

Engine is single turbo, has ALL solenoids removed, no airpump, nor airco.

I have taken out the fuel solenoid out of the rats nest as well. That is no problem I guess..

So what do I need to keep from the harness?

- TPS
- Injectors
- UIM air temp
- MAP sensor
- krank position sensors (2 at the front cover)
- alternator connections.
- connector next to the oil filler neck which is connected to UIM (sorry, name is slipping me)
- connectors for the gearbox (4 off them)

Which others need to stay as well and what others can go?

Do some wirings need resistors to replace them with the PFC?? (solenoids don\'t fe.)

Many thanks

above is fine but in addition water temp sensor is needed and fuel temp sensor should at least be plugged in,but not needed in fuel rail.
Air temp and water temp sensors cause all sorts of issues if plugged in wrong way around.(Easy to do)

yeah they can as both connectors are green but harness wise you can\'t really miss as the water temp sensor is routed in the harness towards the filler neck

but thanks for the tips :)
