Hello all.
Been having some weird behaviour lately from my 94 Fd3 on certain days it wont start then others it will start then cut out and misfire terribly then the next day it will be fine starts perfectly and runs sweet. I thought it may be damp weather as it tends to misfire and cut out in the rain but tried to spray the HT leads while it was running the other day to see if that would stall it obviously meaning new plugs and leads but no it still burbled happily away, i am stumped i am wondering whether i have a sensor on its way out but am really paranoid now about driving it because i dont know what mood it will be in, should i take it for a diagnostic check as i am not to far from WGT?:Hammer

Think you answered your own question there mate. Take it to WGT and get them to give it a good check over.

Spraying your HT leads with WD40 wont cause it to stall.
When did you last change your plugs as they don\'t last long.

i try to do most of the stuff myself, fitted different filters/intercooler myself, i had the clutch done at WGT as i dont have a garage at my house and didnt want to do it in the street, but they are dead easy to do.

Id say WGT if you need bits or some expertiese, if your looking at engine builds and big things then they arent cheap and there are other places that offer a bit more for your money.

My email is turbo-toaster@hotmail.co.uk

i assume you sprayed them with water, not WD40 as phil mentioned

Yo, I\'ve got exactly the same problem with my Rex, what did it turn out to be? I\'ve heard all sorts but not had chance to try most things out.
