Ok, I hope everyone is nearly ready! Please make sure you\'ve read the "guide" I posted further up this thread, especially if this is your first trackday.

Essential things on the day;
License; both parts if you have them
Suitable clothing
Spare oil, water, other fluids
Pump for tyres and pressure gauge (although I\'ll have mine with me)
Money for helmets, instructors, food, drinks, etc

Weather is looking pretty good, just the risk of a few thundery showers, but otherwise hot an dry.

As you may have seen from above, we have only 9 cars now, as David Stephanou and probedb can unfortunately no longer make it.

If anyone hasn\'t insurance sorted, and still wants to, I\'ve gone with these people today;

Cost for me was £80 for the day (£9000 cover, £900 excess). Very simple "over the phone" process, with very little info needed to get the quote.

Only thing I\'m not sure about is whether the lunchbreak is 12-1, or 1-2, as it seems to vary, depending on what website I visit................:3Confused

OK, just done final check on car and fueled her up - all set :Thumbs-up

Southern convoy plans;

I\'m meeting Chrissy at the Fowlers Farm Pub car park, Braintree at 1.30pm
We\'re then meeting up with Scott and "Weasley" Ian, Peterborough Services, at A1 Junction 17 (junction with A605) at 3.30pm

Should get us to the Beaumont Hotel, Louth around 5.00-5.30pm I reckon.

Sorted some insurance out. Hoping to arrive at Beaumont for about 8-9pm. Having tea at home then setting off, 140miles !

i will be getting there a bit earlier as dave isnt coming now,  I will leave early afternoon and take a leisurely 60 mph drive up.

made the final checks tonight and everything seems ok,  which probably means its going to rain  

I\'m not sure what the parking is like up there but would some of you mind blocking me in when we get settled,  the trailer is a bit vulnerable and i\'m paranoid.

Weather looking dry at the moment, but might be overcast (so cooler!)

Car park at hotel looks very good on Google Earth, should be plenty of space and I\'m sure we can box you in somehow:)

A very big thanks to everyone who let me passenger - I enjoyed immensely. First ride in an RX7, both a Mk 2 and 3. :Thumbs-up
