Well as some of you know I lost my exhaust on the way up to japfest as a result of the dredded tin worm :( and me being me, I didnt\'t solve the problem by buying an off the shelf item!! LOL.

The other week a mate was changing his stainless exhaust on his impreza WRX and as a result, it was exactly what I wanted...... & some!! gave him £120 for what I thought was a cat back, but what I got was, Turbo elbow & down pipe, 2 pre silencers & back box all in 3" stainless!! I picked it up from him after Monster jam in cardiff & proceeded to walk through town on a Sat night at 11pm with people every where, carrying a stainless exhaust over the shoulder!!! Oh the looks we were getting! LOL

The following day I repaird the old 5Zigen back box by cutting off the mild steel rear & replacing it with stainless:

Looking through:

then the old scooby system was introduced to Mr Ginder :)

After a bit of cutting & shutting I ended up with this:
Nice neat weld on the flange!!

and on the silencer:

This is the cat back.... up to the rear box:

Then with the rear box fitted:

And on the car:

It is rather a snug fit under the car & I think it is actualy quieter than the original 5Zigen system!! Next on the cards is the silenced mid pipe to mach the rear section, grind the welds back & polish the system & then were all done under there :)..... But the real bonus is, I will probably have the rear section spair so I can sell it on & get some money back :wiggle

Feel free to coment (good or bad) I can take it.

I\'ll get a vid up on the weekend guys, but it doesn\'t sound too bad.... I\'ll do a before & after with the silenced midpipe ;)

Well I desided today that the car was not asbo terretory in the noise department, so opted not to put the silencer in the mid pipe!
I think the exhaust itself is quieter than the std 5Zigen system that was on there & with the 3" mid pipe the note has deepend slightly compaird to the R-Magic 2 3/4" unsilenced mid pipe I had on her!!

Anyway, here is a vid of it.... take a look, & lets have some feedback ;)
