im looking at getting 8 by 18" Hi octaine H109 wheels what do you think about them and is 8 by 18" of for the 3rd gen?
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

I would be getting wider wheels than that :)
Stock rims are 8 inch wide.

so what width should i be looking for. i was going to have 235/40/18 on the rear and 225/40/18 on the front.

well standard is 225 & 255 as i recall so most seem to go 235 255 or 265 ....
