Hi guys,

Just rebuilding my engine at the mo and just fitted the oil metering pump on the side of the block. Should there be gap at the top like the one in the photo?

Thanks

Don\'t know if your\'s is an FC or FD, but I have the same gap on my TII (FC) so I am guessing it\'s normal. The seal is made by an oval O ring on the edge of the OMP, so it should be ok.

perfectly normal, it is a recess in the casting, the seal is much further down the pump
