very bling engine bay..what bhp/boost are u running and are u using a power fc/commander most important what has it cost..tks

boost depends on where the button is! mainly runs .8bar, if I push the button 1.1 bar. BHP? Not 100% sure as its not been on a RR, but somewhere between 300-350 fwbhp. ECU is an RE-Amemiya redom unit. The car was tuned by RE-A before I got it hence all the RE-A stuff on it.

Cost to date? 10k for the car and about 2k on bits.

The 2 most powerful twin turbos in the UK I think are John (the yella fella :D) and Luke (Wallis I think?); John\'s has made 316 at the wheels or about 385ish at the fly wheel. I think Geff said Luke\'s was 315 at the wheels.

Luke\'s is a late very low miler with no porting - which is pretty impressive...

First step is Power FC, dont bother with commander unless u really want one to look at and can spare a couple of hundred quid. Down pipe, mid pipe and catback exhaust - bigger the better. My personal opinion is avoid HKS catbacks :) Fuel pump and rising rate pressure regulator, may be larger secondary\'s in the stock rail. K&N filter in stock air box. Bigger intercooler may be. Increase boost to 14psi. Missed any thing?

Should see u in the region of 280-315 at the wheels depending on your engine and turbos...cost, a few grand :)

You down the waering hole on Thursday??

Cheers for the info Rich, very useful! Is it safe to run 14psi on a set-up like that long term?

Also, just out of interest, why the thumbs-down for HKS cat backs? Any that you would recommend? Finally, is the stock airbox preferable just because it is better than after-market ones (presuming it\'s housing a new uprated filter) or as a concession to cost?

Thanks! :D

14psi should be good \'long term\'.

HKS catbacks; lots of guys have them I know but from back to back comparison of a Superdragger against an Apexi N1 they are rubbish in terms of power potential. Altho they are a lot quieter. And finally, they are made of paper mache or something I think as they last about 2 minutes before the silncer drops of the pipe from the cat/mid pipe. Just my experience and my humble opinion - any one with an HKS can and love it - dont flame me!
