haha been meaning to change my name to something that makes more sense

mines a 1989, the number starts "21" which i guess would make it a late 89, im not sure. couldnt find a sticker on the driver\'s door, but then again it\'s been resprayed!

The original sale advert from powervehicles listed it as a 1989 GTX. And its been registered in the UK as a G reg

i cant think when the dates changed on the reg - as mine is a 1991 on a J plate

a quick search found this :

H 01 August 1990 31 July 1991
J 01 August 1991 31 July 1992

So yup - yours is a H reg

the only annoying thing about mine is that the V5 Says :

First Reg : May 2000
Date Of Reg In UK : May 2000
Declared Manufactured : 1991

although it was made in 1991 - they gave it a J plate which is nice

i wonder how they worked out a manufacture date when i cant

!!

i didnt realise it had been in the UK soo long - i thought it was a recent import ??

Dont forget that the V5 stuff will be taken off the original japanese import paperwork and unless you imported the car then you might not ever know what was on it.
Mine is a H plate so when i am home from this dreaded 48 deg C baking hot days i am getting here at present, I will check my import docs as i have some of those for mine.

i was going to contact Mazda HQ in japan - but cant read the website !! LOL
