hey guys,
i have been a guest since december 09 and have today become a full member.
all i can say is wow! what a difference, this members section is amazing it makes you feel all v.i.p and exclusive! would i be correct in saying that there is a separate members only for sale section? if so, where may i find it please.
thanks, james

Welcome to the club proper James :D
I think there used to be a member for sale section but now everything goes into the main one.

oh dear,
the main reason for becoming a full member was to see if i could find a hidden for sale section to try and find myself an engine because mine has given up and i dont want to foot the massive 3k+ rebuild bill! i thought all the good stuff would go in the exclusive members for sale section. but, nevertheless, it was still worth it just because of all the extra benefits and features.

First of all thank you for becoming a full club member and I am pleased to see that you already feel this is of great benefit to you,

We used to hold back for sale items but this was, a, very time consuming to filter and, b, people then used to bombard us with mails because as non paying guests they could not see the item they had posted.

Something that many paying members overlook is that apart from the obvious is the car insurance valuations which as a couple of people who hadn\'t put this in place found that they lost thousands and thousands of pounds even though the car loss was not their fault!

I am not taking about market value, I am taking about agreed replacement value for your pride and joy as many cars have lots of expensive mods carried out and yet then find that they end up being paid only a small proportion of what the car is worth as only  market value was paid,

If anyone wants a valuation to be able to talk to their insurance company send me lots of pictures, full list of mods, honest car condition and the agreed price you seek.

I will warn anyone that I have had insurance company\'s ring me to go through pricing of a car and one that springs to mind is the FD that I put a 30K valuation on after the owner proved the car had cost this amount also I had one assurance company contact me after I had put a replacement value on the car but the owner put a much lower initial buy in price in a mag,

Lastly on this note its also worth knowing that I have had insurance company\'s tell me they have rung people after seeing a list of completely undeclared mods in magazines !.
All the best Clive

cheers clive, just picking up on the last bit of your post about undeclared mods in for sale posts, it has aklways struck me as strange when you see the 17yr old with his car in a magazine with a four page spread showing all of the modifications under the sun, turbos on a car that came out of the factory as an n/a and so on. i have always wondered if the insurers would have checked up on them to see if they had declared all mods. i now know they do!
cheers
