What do you think this is achievable with this set up at 1 bar?

Street ported motor (was done when on Twins so mildish)
T04S kit (plus my new super heat shield/Cold air Duct)
Power Fc
Profect B2
PFS SMIC (with cold air Duct)
Radtec Race rad
Stock Primary/1600cc Secondary
Rise rate Fuel Reg
Bosch 044 pump
Apexi Hyabusa Exhaust
Decat
RIAT Air Temp sensor

With that set up baring the heat shield.cold air intake and air temp sensor the car ran 360 at the Fly on a "Rich/Safe" map at .8 bar of boost and was only run upto 7500 rpm.

Before it goes back to be properly Mapped its going to get Water Injection and a HKS twin Power.

What do you think? Open to suggestions.

That would be good, We\'re looking for about 450hp @ 1 bar

Just looking at the Dyno Print out from the last time it was tuned and it was 359hp at the Fly at 6500rpm.

Would you need a 3bar Map sensor to go above 1 bar? and whats a good range of inlet temp whilst on boost to aim for?

Jono FD3

inlet temps.... the cooler the better I would say!!! I\'m looking at about 3 - 4c above ambiant tem with the Vmount!

Jono

i think thats a bit low without WI.... Even low with WI imo?

So with a v-mount you\'d see. Heatsoke to 40-50c in traffic and then down to 15c on boost? based on ambient temp of 11c, that cool?

I see 40-50c whilst in traffic, boost drops to 20\'s on boost. I too would like to know the max safe air intake boost temp (whilst on boost). Then I can use this for mapping to see if WI is needed for the desired boost level etc...

That\'s On boost?

At the moment (without water injection) if the ambient temp is 20deg (for argument sake) cruising speed of 50-60mph will see a 4 or 5 deg increase (obviously the quicker you are cruising the lower the increase), WOT in forth it will slowly creep up maybe 5 or 6 deg but when you let off it spikes up to 35 ish then drops quite quickly.

Does this sound Normal?

O yeh and the RIAT sensor is in the stock position (I hear fitting it to the inlet elbow and give you lower temps by a few of deg)

I guess 400whp pretty much on the dot at 1 bar. The port should be plenty for that turbine.

You can go up to 1.2 bar on stock map sensor afaik.

DR SCHNITZEL

im going for the same kinda power on my r, still only half throttling max and not using more than .4 bar boost and its seem so much better than the twins already

Grizzly

There are Pro\'s and Cons. How many 450hp cars can do still see 25mpg.

O yeh its also has a .96 hot side (believe it should have a .86)
