Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows any good places or designs of subtle rear diffusers for FCs, the ones I have seen are a bit big for a subtle aero package eg:

Im just looking for something subtle that does the job of giving me better rear end traction :)

If it helps, on Rotary Art there is a fibreglass diffuser for £125, which I\'m told is an RE Amemiya rep. No idea how suitable it is for an FC, but I came close to buying one to adapt for the MX5, and it looked pretty straightforward.

where did you find the one for £125?
the only one i see is £200 which is same as above.. but without the curvey things on either side..

I just chatted to JM Garage and basically for a rear diffuser to work correctly I would need to have those vortex generators to get any benefit to a rear diffuser, I think I might get some vortex generators for the roof to draw air onto the rear spoiler instead :) hmmm

The £125 diffusers are Rotary Arts \'Xtreme diffuser\' .

I\'m not an aerodynamic expert, but as far as I understand, a diffuser can work perfectly fine without vortex generators (such as canards). But you do need a perfectly flat underbody, otherwise the air is too \'dirty\' by the time it reaches the diffuser for it to make any great difference. I tried looking into it quite heavily (such as the angles that a diffuser needs to be placed at, why creating a vortex is good for the car), and I essentially found that the more I learned, the stupider I realised I was.
