Just wondering what air filters everyone is still running other than \'none\' or \'hks funnel\' lol Just wondering which air filters are able to support enough air flow for 400bhp or more :)

Thanks in advance :D

K&N Carbon filter is very good. Or just a Large K&N cone. I had one of these on my T04E car. Much better than blitz unit that was on there before.

Got a K&N on the GT3574. Very happy with it !

K&N cone here too. Be aware that the power limit quoted on most of the K&N lists is for normally aspirated engines, they\'ll support a lot more on a turbo engine.

Na you cant beat HKS Powerflow Filter ftw lol
The other alternative is the Greddy Airnix they are good

I got Greddy Airinx. Looks bling too, but its plastic lol.

The trouble with the foam-in-a-cage stylyee ones like the HKS and GReddy is that they have to be spotlessly clean to work. As soon as they get a bit clogged and the airflow decreases, if you\'ve got a powerful enough intake, it\'ll sart sucking the foam into the cage around the edges. You can end up with a big gap around the edge where completely unfiltered air is sneaking in past the foam.

Bought from these guys a few times, loads of information on the site :

You can always double up the filters if you are worried about airflow, but I\'ve seen plenty of 500 BHP+ cars with a single HKS mushy on - so they must work ok.

Its just that I have been looking at this comparison site:

http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/

So I might try a K and N or perhaps double Apexi filters?
