Scooby Si: "Yeah - there must be some amusing story behind it..."

and secondly:

Judge: (to Gurj) "So what modifications have you done to the car?"

Gurj: "... it\'s got a T78 turbo"

Judge: "Mmmm. so what else has been modified."

Gurj: "Er... everything?"

I thought the jugde would be pleased with the fact its got a t78 turbo, by running that you\'d think he\'d twig that everything else is done too!!!!

Peace dude, trying to get the unit on today (double din) struggling at mo though, does the circular plug thing at the back need to be plugged into something???

Nope - I don\'t think so it\'s probably for an optional changer unit. The plugs *should* fit straight on unless someone has changed your connectors for something non-standard.

What\'s connected to the stereo you\'ve got in at the moment?

Theres a few different cables running the single din at the mo, gonna take it to car electronics place to put in for me, might require new connections to make it work.

I assume you\'ve tried pulling the whole thing out and checking that it\'s not connected to some blocks (they might be stuffed away down the back somewhere)

Otherwise it sounds like whoever wired your stereo up has cut the Mazda OEM wiring blocks off and wired everything in by hand :rolleyes:

It\'s a pain in the arse when someone does that!!

Yea, pulled everything out yesterday to see what we can see and we can\'t see much??

But yea i\'ll let the experts show me instead, prob could do with newer wiring TBH, just to tidy up the back end
