my driver\'s side door drops about about 1-2cm when opened and i don\'t want it to cause any damage to the sill or lock so i need to sort this as a high priority :)

the pins all look fine so i need to remove the front wing to get to the hinge bolts. i\'ve managed to get the rear part of the wing off and can pull it away slighly but access to the hinge bolts isn\'t good and i don\'t want to risk bending the wing, so i need to get it off completely.

at the front i\'ve undone the 3 nuts from the studs that come through facing from the bumper into the wing and took the arch lining out then the screw that holds the bumper into the wing, but it still wont pull out. i\'ve noticed another black bolt that seems to go into the wing but i can\'t get to the head because of something in the way.

should it be possible to remove the front wing in this way, or do you have to remove other parts (bumper etc?) first to get it off?

thanks :)

well i got the wing off by removing the bumper to get to the 1 bolt that was left holding the wing on! also had to remove the driver\'s side pop-up light unit to make access easier.

i sorted the door, then refitted everything.. but now i\'m struggling to get the light unit to line up properly :(

the wing is lined up perfect - matches with the door and bonnet, the bumper is flush with the wings but now sits with a bigger gap from the bonnet and the light unit is just all over the place. it\'s a right pain in the arse! :( is there a proper technique or method to aligning these light units? i tried to just bolt up the bracket and everything back up where the marks where that were left when i took them off, but clearly that didn\'t work :)
