If i get a mapping done for my fd with 3" catback, apexi intake, fmic, silenced midpipe, do i need a new map if i later add a 3" downpipe?

Im no expert, but i`d say yes. Usually de-cating a turbo`d car makes quite a difference with boost levels etc, so to be on the safe side i`d fit the downpipe first and then get it mapped?
QuoteImpossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

yes you probably would, you really want to get it mapped if you already have those mods fitted

Yup, definitely
You may also need to look at porting the wastegate due to the decrease in back pressure possibly causing bosot creep.
Mine creeps about 0.1-0.15 bar at the top :(

It should have sad: i AM mapping soon with all above except dp. What i meant was if i need another map after adding dp.

Is the car a uk/us model or a japanese import?? Why i ask is if its an import i think you will be safe enough on the original map. If its a uk car with the pre-cat in the dp then i would imagine you would need it mapping again after you replace it.
