Need help with switches

Ok heres the problem, my 7 is off the road till i get a rebuild done but until then i want to do some interior work. what i plann to do is to get a dvd player/screen for where my stereo goes, but i have the clifford alarm panel with the light and the switch and i want to move it to a spare switch (on the pics) and install the light by the switch aswell, would anyone be able to give me an idea of how hard it is and what to do...iv got an idea but i thought id speak to you guys first because you know your stuff lol.

Moving the LED is a doddle mate. Extend the wire and drill a little hole.

Same idea with the switch. Easy if your confident with cutting/joining wires.

how would i convert the switch and where could i get hold of one like the fog light switch?
