Hi there, how much do you want for them ?

VishalStar

Hey Scotty, thanks for the interest, someone else on here that asked first so they get first dibs but if that doesnt work out then you can have them. Selling them for £400 ono.

Just keeping the thread upto date - did this in the end:

Anyways, H3 dipped beam kit, purchased through e-bay ( same place as I got my H3 kit for my 323F - no probs so far, best part of 2 years - http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/diane-shop/ )

Have to mention I haven\'t got these one\'s on the rx through an MOT yet but they look as good / the same and will certainly be better than the poor excuse described as lighting that was on there before......... no probs with the others / MOT time....... have fun!

Hi

I have got a set of KS quad lights and have been holding back fitting them until I can find a suitable way of dipping the lights. I tried fitting them to one side of the car and just tilted the inner lamp down to give a dipped effect but the beam was still very round and not cut off flat at the top as you would expect for a dipped light.

The lamps I have got are called a JA1255W which is the one with the little tag on.

What does the H3 dipped beam kit that you purchased do, and, is it suitable for non HID lights?

I\'ve wanted a set of the twin KS lights for ages but they are rare and get snapped up quickly when they come up for sale and usually when i have no spare money anyway :o

saw some on eBay from that "borntosell" guy in Reading, I think. £1200! Jeepers! He does seem to get some very good Jap stuff in, that dude, but ffffff... me his prices can be a bit eye-watering!

Hi Phil

My Knightsport set came with four lamps all the same and there is no apparent way of dipping them other than pointing one set of lamps down for the dipped beam and one set of lights straight ahead for the main beam.

Normally with a dipped beam the top part of the beam of light is flat and it dips to the left (on a RHD car). The KS lights do not do that and some folks on here have failed their MOT because of it. I wanted to sort out the dipping aspect before fitting so that they will pass an MOT.

How do your lights dip and have they passed an MOT yet? :Giggle

Hi Phil

Just read the thread you pointed to and oops you have covered some of the points I raised again.

Seems I may have to get the flexible friend out and get a HID system but I dont think it will sort out the beam pattern issue though.

Any know if there\'s a english translation for fitting instructions of the knightsports 4 beam kit. Read the Japanse version it\'s gonna take me longer than expected. I\'ve also found amongst all my junk a used hid kit which i forgot i had. I have two ballast boxes and wires but can\'t locate the bulbs. Could I just fit this hid kit or do I need a specific kit for the knightsports lights?

Brian - not sure on the fitting instructions and for the cost of a new complete set - I\'d just buy new - H3 is what you need......

Have fun ;)

I think I worked out the instructions in the end but my son\'s birthday party put a stop to finishing the job.
I been having a look and been considering buying some bulbs that still
takes 55w but has the output of 110w, they are xeyon filled and supposed to be much much better than normal halogen bulbs like what\'s in the knightsports kit. Due to them being so cheap. I thought I would try a bulb on one and compare to the stock bulb on the otherside and see if i\'m happy with it or want to go hid still.
