HELP PLEASE! bonnet wont open

ok my bonnet wont open, the cable has popped off of the latch bonnet end, i have standard bumper with standard rad and intercooler plus all the standard plastics in the engine bay, i have tried everything i can think of, i need to open the bonnet to put oil in it lol so i cant even drive it to a garage!!!

besides taking a grinder to the bonnet does anyone have any ideas??

im close to setting fire to it lol there are no holes or space to get my hand up at all from behind or below the bumper i can lift the edge of the bonnet by about half a cm but cant tell what i need to pull or poke i have a coathanger but if someone could pop their bonnet and have a look where the cable pulls and see which lever it pulls and take a photo for me and see if its possible to do from the front of the car through the bonnet gap?

PLEASE HELP! im close to crying lol!

or let me guess the hook i need to move is behind?? i cant see any way to get it open at all if thats the case?

i think so...im pretty sure the bit thats holding your bonnet down is behind the other catch!:mad:

argh im gonna have to cut the bonnet off i think

The rotating catch behind the big hook (see first pic) is the one you need to worry about. The big hook at the front is the one you manually flick when you\'ve already triggered the bonnet release.

Unless you can get to all the bolts for the mechanism or reattach the cable some how I\'m not sure I can see a way to get it open without some kind of destruction!

batman u really think u can do it??? i cant get my hand up there at all... cant even get a finger up anywhere LOL! if you can do it i will bring it over to swindon and meet you but honestly i cant see any way of getting up there, i jacket it up and everything lol!
