Whats deemed to be a healthy oil pressure on a 92 rx7, i have 2?? pressure gauges on mine and both read around 3 KG/CM is this ok??

Stock oil guages on an FD are crap, they don\'t give you a proper reading, mine was at 0 when idling and just over half when on gas.

Go on what your aftermarket one says.

3 KG per CM is fine and healthy.

Thanks for the replies people, I know what you mean about the standard one it does tend to be a bit erratic.

Glad it appears to be ok so why does the mazda one go so high if around 3 is normal?

4 kg is super healthy and like having all new components, that is why,but 3 kg is nothing to be concerned about.

When I got my motor the standard gauge was showing 2 at idle but now it only seems to show around 1 , I check the oil every week and top it up ,

just checked it today as I\'d givin it some on the way home and it was still nearly full , I was expecting it to be quite a bit down as it usually is by the end of the week

Also seemed the power was a touch down but that could just be me getting more used to it

Can anyone shed some light on this , is it something to worry about or just the crappy standard gauge ?

Finally tuned - 317.3rwhp :burnout (thats 374.4fwhp for those who like bigger numbers)
