Stupid question follows:

Has anyone contacted Mazda about this?

Is there a chance that there are 10-20 or more in some oscure warehouse in Japan gathering dust?

Perhaps a group buy.

BTW when asking a technical question do we stay here or go to the technical forum. Most of the topics seemed to be about FDs.

you probably have more chance of getting a answer in this section unless it is not 1st gen related

That is what I was thinking, but did not want to break protocol! :)

Ask Clive (mazdarotaryparts). He may be able to ask the question to mazda.

No real protocol on her Ary, you want any answers, we\'ll do our best to help.
It\'s just that my forum reading is to skim all new posts but then I switch forums to the 1st Gen section and then look hard for any new 1st Gen stuff. Probably other people do something similar. So, like Mark, I would say you\'re best posting in the 1st Gen.
