Just a quick one.

Switched live off the ignition barrel! or another favorate one of mine is an unused plug...... for things like cruise controle, think that is for dash lights though?? or the turbo timer harnace (again if you have one :) ) but you get the idea!!

so just any red wire i can find lol

Any switched live... get a cheapy multy meter & test for power... as you don\'t want it on all the time or your battery will be drained very quickly!

right i just plumbed it into my fog light switch grnd then put a fuse over it in the box to make the circuit. it works only when ignition on.

Should i fit an in line fuse?

Also can the controller and the box sense boost off the same line or is this not advised?

Got my boost gauge & controler running from one line.... might delay the responce a little, but literaly miliseconds!!
If you are running from an existing curcuit on the car then you shouldn\'t need to put a fuse in the live to the new equipment, but if you want to for piece of mind, then it wouldn\'t cause a problem.
